Luna Del Pinal is a destination-led, artisanal womenswear and lifestyle brand, designed and produced in Guatemala.
The brand work with over 200 artisans from marginalised communities, enabling workers to commercialise their craft and in turn support their families.
Artisan relationships honed over years of working closely together mean the brand are able to challenge traditional working methods, encouraging experimentation and manipulation that results in the constant development of contemporary textiles.
Luna Del Pinal is spearheading the new bohemian aesthetic through collections that evoke Latin American tradition, nomadic travels across vast continents and by-gone hedonistic eras, all underpinned by earnest social activism.
“Textiles do not refer to pieces of cloth - textiles are the framework of our second skin. They involve an artistic process, a transformation of fibres, evidence of the creative mind. Fabrics tell us stories, breathing history, telling us what is happening, and where we’re going. Textiles make culture.” Arianne Engelberg
